Mark S. Hite, 65, passed away on May 2, 2017. He was born on July 8, 1951.
Mark was a veteran serving during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army. He retired from Harrisburg Elementary School. Mark was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes and NASCAR fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Evalena Hite, 12 siblings.
Surviving family includes wife of 40 years, Janice, children, Jodi (Richard Bensema) Freeman, Mark Steven (Shannon Kindoll) Hite Jr., Harrison A. (Amber Powell) Hite, Meshelle A. (Stephen) Cloud, Elizabeth A. (William LaVerse IV) Hite, grandchildren, Steven, Jacob, MacKenzie, ShyAnna, Maddiline, Mark, Raelyn, Damien, Christopher, Riley, Aiden, brother, Tim Hite and fur babies, Molly and Fancy.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm, Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A funeral service will be held at 1pm, Monday, May 8, 2017 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Pleasant Cemetery, Mount Sterling, OH.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bruce Fleishman and Dr. Richard Janczak for giving him 25 more years.
