Mark S. Klepper, born on March 28, 1958, in Akron, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Monterey Care Center in Grove City, Ohio. Mark’s life was marked by warmth, good humor, and a deep appreciation for the moments he shared with family and friends.
Mark’s joy in life was evident to all who knew him. He treasured the time spent surrounded by relatives and loved ones, valuing companionship and connection above all.
A passionate NASCAR enthusiast, Mark followed the sport with great excitement, taking special pleasure in cheering for his favorite driver, Tony Stewart.
Mark also delighted in casino trips and friendly card games, which were more than mere pastimes—they became cherished rituals that brought together those he held dear. Whether sharing a hand or swapping stories over the table, Mark’s enjoyment was rooted in togetherness and camaraderie.
He is survived by several siblings, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Jason Klepper, and his parents, Gloria and Robert Klepper. Their memory remained ever present in Mark’s life, and he now is warmly welcomed back into their embraces.
A graveside service to celebrate and honor Mark will be held at Grove City Cemetery, 4399 Grove City Road, Grove City, OH 43123, on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Tim Womack officiating. Family and friends are warmly invited to come together in remembrance of Mark’s well-lived life.
In his passing, Mark leaves behind fond memories of a man who valued togetherness, loyalty, and stability, who cherished simple joys, and who embraced every opportunity to celebrate and support family. He will be deeply missed.
