Mark "Mackie" Anthony Byus

Mark “Mackie” Anthony Byus, 65, of Columbus, was born on March 23, 1960, in Columbus to the late William A. and Rebecca (Frances) Byus.

Those left to cherish the memories of Mackie include daughter, Heather (Charles) Carroll; grandchildren, Paige Hamilton, Nicholas Carroll, and Ryleigh Carroll; and four great-grandchildren; siblings, Teddie (David) Gignac, Connie (Galen) Cannon, Rodney (JoAnn) Byus, and many other family members and friends.

Along with his parents, Mark was preceded in death by eight brothers and two sisters.

Mark worked for over 40 years as a Building Engineer at the State Office Tower. When he wasn’t working, Mark enjoyed hanging out with his beloved dog, Timex.
