Mark R. Johnson, 45 of Newark, passed away at his residence on August 23, 2016. Born on March 29, 1971 to Russell and the late Dorothy Marie (Simpkins) Johnson in Columbus, OH. Mark was a devoted husband and father and an avid outdoors man, he especially enjoyed fishing and motorcycles. Along with his father, he is survived by his wife of 25 years Tiffany (Nott) Johnson, children James W. Johnson, Gavin Tyler Johnson and Alissa Marie Johnson, grandson Caden Robinson, step-mother Mary Kirby, step-sisters Joyce Kirby (Lanny) Bailey and Deborah (Steve) Larkin, step-brother Dana (LouAnn) Kirby, as well as many loving friends. Along with his mother he is preceded in death by granddaughter Karmen Johnson.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, OH on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 5:00pm until time of service at 7:00pm.
