Mark S. Watson

Mark Stephen Watson, age 69, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on April 1, 2025. Born on August 26, 1955, to James R. and Marilynn Watson, Mark was raised in Worthington and graduated from Thomas Worthington High School with the Class of 1974.

Mark was a man of big ideas, always thinking creatively and embracing life with enthusiasm. He found joy in gardening, had a true passion for cooking, and was known for his delicious meals—and his famous Extreme Beans. His career at Liebert Corporation /Emerson Electric / Vertiv brought him a sense of purpose and pride, and he made many lasting friendships during his time there.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Bonnie Watson. Mark is survived by his children, Ashleigh Bruneau (Jon) and Aaron Watson (Katy); his grandchildren, Emileigh, Colton, and Ryder; his sisters, Julie Nave and Nancy Funk; his longtime partner, Donna Cremeans; her daughter, Majestic Cremeans, and her children.

Mark will be remembered for his creativity, his wit, and his love for those closest to him. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held in the summer.
