Burson, Marlene Claire, age 80, of Grove City, passed from this life on April 17, 2017. Born on April 3, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Brian, her twin brother Marvin, and parents Charles and Hilda Watchorn.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, James, son Brett (Gina), daughter-in-law Christiana; grandchildren Rachel, Megan, Samuel, Chiara, Enzo & Marco; many siblings, nieces & nephews. Marlene taught in the Groveport Madison School District for years, was a Children's Program Coordinator for her church and loved the children she instructed.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, 43123 on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 1pm until time of service at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Children's Department at the Grove City Church of the Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Road Grove City, OH, 43123 in Marlene's memory.
