Marlene Dodson

Marlene Dodson, age 80, passed away Tuesday May 1, 2018. She was born on September 21, 1937 in Selma, OH.
Marlene retired from Gahanna Jefferson City Schools as a lunch lady. She and her husband met while working at Lazarus in downtown Columbus which led to a wonderful, lengthy marriage.
Surviving family includes son, Jevon (Carah) Dodson; siblings, Atlee Haskins, Gwen Neisent, Shaun (Theresa) Haskins; niece, Debbie (Jim) Dalton.
Preceded in death by husband of over 50 years, John T. Dodson; twin sister, Jeanine Haskins.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. at Newcomer Grove City, 3393 Broadway.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kindred Hospice Foundation, 3350 Riverwood Parkway, Suite 1400, Atlanta, GA 30339 or Central Ohio Alzheimer's Association, 1379 Dublin Rd, Columbus, OH 43215.
