Marlene M. Mccauslin

Marlene M. McCauslin (Sigillo), 81, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 22, 1935 to Giusseppe and Lucia (Caplone) Sigillo. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James E. McCauslin and siblings, Dominic Sigillo, Mary Rieder, Sue Hall, Phyllis O'Neill, John Sigillo, Lawrence Sigillo, Helen Velez and Angie Saladino.

Marlene is survived by daughter, Melinda (David) Bray and their children, Michael (Miranda) Bray, Brian (Gina) Bray; son, David (Kelly) McCauslin and their children, Angela (Jason) Stone, Ryan McCauslin and fiancée, Kasiunia Stachowiak, Christina (Stephen) Vogel; son, Mark McCauslin and daughter, Michelle (Ron) Gill and their children, Zachary (Nichole) Guard, Gabrielle and Sarah Gill; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Evan, Jacob, Evelyn, Luke, Elijah and Faith. Marlene's loss will be felt by many other family members, friends and neighbors too numerous to name. She will especially be missed by her special niece, Nancy Hall.

Marlene was an RN at Riverside Methodist Hospital for more than 40 years. Her most important job was as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Marlene's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 3-8 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 4 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 10700 Liberty Rd. S, Powell, Ohio, beginning promptly at 2 p.m. followed by cremation. A private interment service will be held at a future time.
