Marsha Kay Hammons

Marsha Kay Hammons, age 69, passed away on December 22, 2019. She was born on April 24, 1950 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late John and Laura Hill. She is survived by her children, Melissa (Randy) Broerman, Gary (Melanie) Hammons, Richard (Brenda) Hammons, Melanie (Scott) Bishop; grandchildren, Heather, Ashley, Randy, Megan, Tyler, Ben, Nate, Brittany, Richard, Christina, Drake, and Olivia; great grandchildren, Isaiah, Cameron, Joel, Owen, Evelyn, Ben, Hadleigh, and Hayley; siblings, John (Jackie) Hill, Jerome (Sue) Hill, Peggy (Howard) Pike, Gary Hill, and Bobby (Wayne) Ferdinando.

Mimi, Mamaw, Grandma, Ma, Mom, and Mommy...

Marsha Kay Hill-Hammons, was all of those to us and more. She was the matriarch of our family, and a die hard Buckeye fan. We will miss her greatly. She persevered through adversity, and became a manager of National City Bank. She survived stage 4 ovarian cancer for over 36 years. She was a miracle forged in steel and kindness.

Friends may call at the Newcomer Southwest Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00pm. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
