Martha E. Swimm, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. She was born in Princeton, W.V. on December 9, 1937 to the late Joseph and Mandie Walters.
Her passion was helping children, she was a foster parent for more than 17 years.
Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Swimm; sons, Andrew and Henry Brown, and brother, James Walters. She is survived by her children, Joseph (Deanna) Stinson, Donald (Barbara) Stinson, Ronald Stinson, and Barbara Martin; grandchildren, Chris (Tina) Stinson, Lisa Stinson, Billy Stinson, Dusty (Jeffrey) Noonan, David Cooper, Jennifer Stinson, Joey (Jen) Stinson, Mindy Bowen and Carrie Brown; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Mary Belcher and Billy Walters.
