Martha Emma Hughes, 83, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away October 18, 2026. She was born on November 8, 1942. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Joseph Hughes.
Surviving family includes, sons, Douglas A. Phillips and Kevin Phillips; great grandchildren, Chelsea, Harmony, Adlee, Daisy; grandson, Levi Phillips; brother, Terry (Marsha) Smith.
She may now rest in peace in the arms of her Lord.
Friends may call at the Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio (614-539-6166) on Thursday, October 29, 2026 from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am. Entombment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio. Pastor Jim Blankenship officiating.
