Martha J. Linkous, 67, of Columbus, OH, passed away at home on March 14, 2015. Martha was a longtime bar manager at The Press Club of Ohio / Dillingers Restaurant and Lounge in the LeVeque Tower, downtown Columbus.
She was preceded in death by mother, Jean H. Johnson and father Jesse Appleman, brothers, Mike Appleman and Timmy Johnson.
Survived by Skip Clarke, the love of her life, two beautiful children, Christy (Gil) Martinez, Larry "Bo" Linkous, second mother, Pinki Appleman, sisters, Donna Baker, Cindi (Foster) Barton, Carleen (Darrell) Watkins, Alicia (Craig) Dunkle, brother, Charles "Chuckie Sue Flintstone" Ramsey Jr., in-laws, Dee Clarke, Diane (Ron) Claytor, Heather (Harley) Miller. She was so proud of her 5 grandchildren, Derek, Christopher, Stephanie, Mathew "Matty", Crissy, great-grandchild, Gabriel, god-daughter, Jessica and many other special nieces and nephews who she leaves a big "Goo-Goo, Gaa-Gaa." Martha has declared last call.
A public tribute honoring and celebrating her life will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 1-4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. At 3:30pm there will be a time of sharing and remembering Martha's life led by nephew, Pastor Tim Stern. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Martha's memory.
