"Marty" Martha Stewart-Igel, Born April 11, 1945 passed away on April 22, 2018. At age 73 she was preceded in death by her Father: Francis Conley, Mother: Charity McNeal, Brother: Jeff Conley, Sisters: Gina Holbrook and LaVerne Flowers. Son: Thomas (Tommy) Stewart, Daughter: Cindy Byas-Stewart, Grandson: Donnie Fulkerson.
Survived by: Spouse Patrick (Pat) Igel, Sister: Thelma Miller, Daughters: Kimberley Miller, Gina (Doug) Hawes, Grandchildren: Cammy (Wayne) Sagraves, Caley (Derrick) Baker, Codey Townsend, Linsey (Paul) Fulkerson, Brooke (Justin) Hardy, Ashley Stewart, Tommie Jo Stewart, Blake Miller, Erika Hawes, Tyler Hawes, numerous Great-Grandchildren, Neices and Nephews.
Special Friends: Kelly and German Verne and family. Marty took special care of Colleen Gallagher for 8 years. She retired after serving for 28 years at the Vision Center of Central Ohio, as a Supervisor. Marty spent her entire life caring, loving and nurturing her entire family and was considered Grandma by the friends of her extended family. Each individual held a special place in her heart. She battled cancer and fought courageously for two years.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer SW Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 5:00-8:00 pm Thursday, April 26, 2018. Service Friday April 27, 2018 also at Newcomer to begin at 1:00 pm being held by Pastor Owen Stotts and Pastor Michael Buck with the burial directly proceeding at the Concord Cemetery-old section. Please join the family after the ceremony at Rackums on Stringtown Rd, Grove City, for celebration of Martys life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate directly to Gina Hawes for end of life expenses.
