Martin M. Byron

Martin M. "Marty" Byron, 74, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014. Martin was born on September 30, 1940, to Arthur and Weltha (Welch) Byron and is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Andrea Slatko; sisters, Virginia Murray and Marjorie Madrue; brother, Howard "Vance" Morrow. Marty is survived by his wife of 47 years, Meredith (Miller) Byron; daughter, Theresa (Kurt) Williams; grandchildren, Brittany Jock, Courtney Jock, Zachary Harber, Jacob Slatko and many friends. Marty worked for GE for 30 years. He also was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and Sons of the Union Veterans. He served proudly with the US Navy and was awarded an honorable discharge.

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, December 27, 2014, 9-10 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Memorial Service at 10:00 AM.

Inurnment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
