Martin J. "Marty" Petruzzi Jr., 67, of Lewis Center, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
He was born August 23, 1946 in Columbus, son of the late Martin J. Sr. "Mutt" and Lola B. Stapleton Petruzzi.
Marty was preceded in death by his Gram, Estella Grace.
He served in the Marines during Vietnam.
Marty is survived by his wife, Phyllis Baldasarro Petruzzi; children, Frank (Wanda) Petruzzi, Marca (Jason) Wolfe, James, Julie, Martin J. III "Buster" (Nicole) and Phyllis Petruzzi; siblings, Nicholas (Barb), Nancy, Larry (Michelle) Petruzzi; grandchildren, Jim, Michael, Joey, Josh, Frankie, Molly, Zach, Monica, Mark and Madison; five great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus with a prayer service at 4:00 PM.
Funeral Mass will be Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 10:30 AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, 5750 N. High St. Worthington.

Marty was a loving husband, brother, father and grandfather that loved football and unfortunately never saw the Browns win a Super Bowl. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to have known.
