Marvin Fields, 95, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Dayton V.A. Hospice in Dayton, OH. Marvin was born on March 11, 1922 in Kenova, West Virginia to DC and Elizabeth Fields.
Marvin is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Ann. Marvin and Ann were married in 1952 and she passed away in 1993.
He is survived by his sons, William C. Fields and John H. Fields.
Marvin was a veteran of World War II serving as a Lieutenant from 1940 to 1945. He was also a 1949 graduate of Purdue University. Marvin was a traffic engineer for over 30 years with the State of Ohio and a Fellow with the Institute of Traffic Engineers.
Marvin will be laid to rest at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Hilliard, OH on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 2:30 pm with full military honors.
