Marvin Ray Jenkins

Marvin Ray Jenkins was born Feb 2, 1938 to Grace and Herman Jenkins. The true patriarch of his family known as Popsi or Pops, he leaves behind a huge hole in the heart of his kids, Danny (Yasko), Ronnie (Vickie Crego), Barb (Garry) Green, Mike (Michelle), Tammy (Mark) Jenkins-Dodds; grandkids Danielle Green, Zach (Amy) Green, Kelly Jenkins-Dodds, Carissa (Eric) Beverly, Kylie Jenkins- Dodds, Matthew Green, and great grandkids Dillon and Elijah Green, Tressie Beverly, Gavin Selkinghaus, Luca Green, Gage Selkinghaus, Clayton and Levi Beverly, along with sisters Freda, Lucille, Judy and brother Jim(Bobbi) and many nieces and nephews. 

The epitome of strength and stubbornness, yet full of kindness and compassion, always willing to help others, especially his family and friends. He enjoyed restoring classic cars and taught himself the many necessary skills. Marvin married the love of his life (whom he fell in love with at first sight), Opal Harman Jenkins on July 3, 1954. Opal passed in April of 2024 just a few months shy of their 70th wedding anniversary. He missed her terribly and was more than ready to be reunited with his love.
