Mary Louise Johnson, 71, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, went home to be with the Lord on December 27, 2013. She was preceded in death by parents, George and Martha Peck.
Mary is survived by her husband of 51 years, Mark; son, Michael (Laura); daughters, Sheri (Michael) Harvey and Amy (Lennie) Rhoades; grandchildren, Frazier, Spencer, Lauren, Alex, Brian, Erika and Max; great-granddaughter, Ambriella; brother, George Richard (Lynn) Peck; mother-in-law, Mary Bean Johnson.
Member of Cypress Wesleyan Church for over 50 years. Mary embodied fairness and grace and lived her life serving others. "This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it," (Psalm 118:24) was her life verse.
Visitation Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 5-7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral Service Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 2pm at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to Kobacker House c/o OhioHealth Foundation 180 E. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43215-9480.
