Mary L. Seitz, 80, of Mount Gilead, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at the Kobacker House.
She was born March 28, 1933 in Athens, daughter of the late Donald and Catherine Conrath Metcalf.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Richard "Dick" Seitz; son, Bradley Seitz; brothers, Thomas, Jack and Richard Metcalf; sister, Thelma Metcalf.
She retired as a bus driver from Columbus City Schools with 26 years of service.
Mary is survived by her sons, Donald (Patricia) Hawk, Mike Seitz, and Robin (Amy) Seitz; daughter, Debra (LeRoy) Webber; sister, Rosalee DeWeese and Susie (David) Douglas; niece, Charlene Stover; friend, Cathy Shomber; grandchildren, Brian, Kevin, Mica, Cindy, Ian, Kasey; seven great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to HomeReach Hospice, L-3533 OhioHealth Foundation, P.O. Box 600001 Columbus, OH 43272.
