Mary Pamela Shelton Church, age 73, was born on November 29, 1947 and died on July 31, 2020 after a 2 year battle with breast and bone cancer.
Pam was born in Warren, Ohio to Kenneth Irvin Shelton and Francis Reeder Shelton, and later raised by Kenneth and Pauline Shelton.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Paul Edwin Shelton, Evelyn Rolline Bogan, Barbara Reese, and Wanda Hites.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Pamela Genall and (James) Haley, of Kittrell, North Carolina, Dianna Deloris and (Robert) Reece, of Orient, Ohio, Roberta Kay and (Jeffery) Browning, of Lancaster, Ohio, and Robert Dempsey and (Shanna) Webb, of Hopkins, Michigan; siblings, Beulah Florence, Teddy Truman, Thomas Stanley, and Benjamin Ervin; grandchildren, Krissa Dempsey Haley and (Sajjad) of Greensboro, North Carolina, Mary Jo Haley, of Raleigh, North Carolina, Amanda Nicole Reece Angel, of Grove City, Ohio, Robert Aaron Reece, of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, Zack Jeffery Browning II, of Columbus, Ohio, Robert Sean Nathan Browning, of Columbus, Ohio, Jennifer Michelle Webb, of Orient, Ohio, Tyler Dakota Wade and (Selena) Webb, of Obetz, Ohio, Katie Elizabeth Webb, of Hopkins, Michigan, Ryan Joseph Webb, of Hopkins, Michigan, and Alex Mortin Webb, of Hopkins, Michigan; great grandchildren, Yusuf Etemab, of Greensboro, North Carolina, Olivia Grace Reece Angel, of Grove City, Ohio, Isabella Ann Angel, of Grove City, Ohio, Colin Robert Lee Angel, of Grove City, Ohio, Annabell Raelynn Jaynes Reece, of Chillicothe, Ohio, Zach Jeffery Browning III, of Lancaster, Ohio, Andrew Aaron Browning, of Lancaster, Ohio, Emma Marie Browning, of Lancaster, Ohio, Sophie Grace Webb, of Obetz, Ohio, and Tyden Wade Webb, of Obetz, Ohio.
Pam was the youngest of 9 children. She worked at Fed Ex Ground Company until she retired in 2014. She also was a lifelong fan of "The Young and the Restless" and "The Price is Right". Pam was a flower gardener who took pride in her yard and home. She was never afraid of stepping outside of her comfort zone and trying new things like modeling, dancing, and always enjoyed meeting new people and speaking her mind. Pam was a lively woman who also loved fashion and had a style all of her own. As well as fashion, Pam enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends Betty Jo, Jackie, and Jewell. She was a bargain hunter who liked thrifting spending several hours looking for items that would spark joy in her life.
Let us remember Pam for her approach and different outlook on life than others.
