Mary Jo Piper

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and wife, Mary Jo Piper of Dublin, Ohio, on June 17th, 2026. Mary Jo grew up in Johnstown/Alexandria, Ohio, where she met and married her lifelong partner, Edward Piper.

Mary Jo lived her life to the fullest, always striving to be the best in all endeavors.

She treasured and excelled in her professional roles with Western Electric AT&T, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and the James Cancer Hospital.

Mary Jo is survived by her loving husband, Edward Piper, her two daughters, Sandra Piper Wellinger (John), Michele Decker (Scott, her grandson, Chad Wellinger, her granddaughters, Alison Jadwin (David, Andrea Decker, and her fiance, Craig Sklarczyk, Ava Wellinger, and Paige Regan (John). Additionally, she is survived by four great-grandchildren, Colton, Evelyn, and Carter Jadwin, and Julian Martinez.

Visitation will be held from 10-11am, Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NW Chapel, 10051 Brewster Lane, Powell, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 11am.

Burial will follow at Dublin Cemetery.

We are thankful to our Heavenly Father and his son for having had Mary Jo in our lives, and she will be forever loved by her family. God bless, Mary Jo!
