Mary Katherine “Katie” Wetzler, 73, of Columbus, died August 9th, 2025. Katie was born August 1st, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio to John “Jack” and Mary (nee Hutchinson) Posey. She was deeply committed to advancing women's health, dedicating herself to addressing critical gaps in care where society has long fallen short.

Katie will be deeply missed by her husband of 38 years, Jon L Wetzler, and her 3 children: Clint, Matt (Pamela), and Jon.

A private ceremony will be held by her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family.
