Maudie Ellen Mccorkle

June 12, 1927 — August 10, 2018

Maudie Ellen McCorkle, born June 12, 1927 left for heaven on August 10, 2018. There to greet her will be her husband of 57 yrs, Rockford Lee McCorkle, son Rocky Lee McCorkle Jr., son-in-law Bill Chaffin, mother Mamie Anderson, and Grandmother Maude Myers.

She is survived by son Roger (Kathy) McCorkle, daughter Ellen Chaffin, daughter-in-law Jackie McCorkle, and sisters Mary Lou Brungs, Flora Edwards, Joy Stroup, and Donna Smith, 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.

She retired from National Graphics and was a life-long member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union. Special thanks to Mount Carmel Hospice.

Family will receive friends on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 10am to 12pm at Newcomer Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH 43231. A funeral service will immediately follow at 12 pm also at Newcomer Northeast Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
