Maureen Angum Ndanji, a cherished soul whose light and love enriched the lives of so many, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2025, at the age of 58. Born in Cameroon, Africa on November 14, 1966, Maureen blossomed into a vibrant, charismatic individual whose impact resonated far beyond her years.
From an early age, Maureen exhibited a fun-loving spirit and an infectious enthusiasm for life that drew others to her. A natural teacher, she dedicated herself to education and was deeply loved by her students. Her classrooms brimmed with laughter and invaluable life lessons, as she embraced the role of a mother to everyone who entered her life. Maureen's magnetic personality was complemented by her stern demeanor when it came to nurturing growth and fostering potential in those she cared for.
As a proud mother, Maureen took immense pride in her son, Bill-Stevensons Ndi. Throughout her life, she was his unwavering support, sacrificing countless things to ensure he could achieve every success he dreamed of. Bill-Stevenson has often remarked upon her selflessness and the profound love that defined their relationship, speaking to the legacy of dedication that Maureen leaves behind.
Maureen's love knew no bounds, especially when it came to her grandchildren. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to them, with arms wide open and a heart overflowing with affection. She did everything and anything to make their lives brighter, becoming the matriarch of a family proud of the values she instilled.
Survived by her beloved mother, Shetou Ndanji, and her son Bill-Stevensons Ndi, Maureen's spirit will forever linger in their hearts and in the hearts of her students, who continue to carry the values she imparted. She is preceded in death by her father, Emmanuel Ndanji.
