Max Carrel, 60 of Columbus, passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family on April 10, 2014. Born on December 16, 1953 to the late Walter and Frances (McGuire) Carrel in Columbus, Ohio. Survived by loving wife of 18 years Alice (Kelso) Carrel, sons Jason (Shonda) and Bart (Stephanie) Carrel, step children Virginia (Chris) Newsome and James Fitchpatrick, grandchildren Lacey and Danny Carrel, siblings Beverly (Ed), Walt (Nancy), Darlene (Jeff) and Allen.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 2 to 5pm.
Funeral service on Monday at the funeral home at 11am.
Burial to follow at Concord Cemetery.
