Maxie Jean Walton

Maxie Jean (Jackson) Walton, 88; born in Robinsville, NC on February 24, 1926, died peacefully at home surrounding by her loving family on June 10, 2014. Preceded in death by infant daughter, Zandra and son, Mike. Survived by loving husband of 71 years, Dan W. Walton Sr.; sons, Tye (Ginger) Walton, Phil Walton and Danny (Manon) Walton; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Maxie Jean never knew a stranger; unfamiliar people were simply friends she had not yet met. After spending a few minutes with you, she would know your life history, be interested by it, and make you feel great about yourself. She was the ultimate "people person" and there are many people who will feel a great void in their lives from her passing.

Visitation Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 4-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Visitors are encouraged to share stories and memories of Maxie between 7 and 8 pm. Interment will take place at Himyar, KY on Friday.
