Melanie Elaine Compton, 82, passed away on September 17, 2025.

She was born on March 13, 1943 in Columbus, OH.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy L. "Dottie" Manus, son, Philip Olan Clark, granddaughter, Summer Renee Eger, great-great-grandson, Ronald Lee Peters and sister, Jeri Manus.

Surviving family includes daughters, Kathy (Chris) Carter, Cheryle Commeans, Lora Columbro, Ina (Hap) Renzenbrink, son, Danny (Kelly) Brown, 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and special friends, Margaret Wraight, Gabby Reading.

Visitation will be held from 11am to 1pm, Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231.

Burial will follow at Northlawn Memory Gardens, Westerville, OH.
