Melissa Lynn Lavance

Melissa Lynn LaVance, age 50 of Hilliard, OH passed away suddenly on October 27, 2017 and returned to Our Father in Heaven. Melissa was born in Bloomington, IN on May 12, 1967, and she lived most of her life in Columbus, OH. She attended Lima-Shawnee HS and graduated from Dublin-Coffman HS. Melissa earned a degree from Columbus Technical Institute and soon after, began her career as a Dental Assistant. She is preceded by grandparents, Wes and Agnes Lones of Lima, OH, and father, George LaVance. Surviving family includes mother and stepfather, Susan and Gregory Buckey, of Dublin, OH; sister Laurie and Mike Conroy, and nephews, Connor and Dylan, of Tampa, FL.

Melissa will be remembered by friends and family for her outgoing personality, friendliness, and kindness to others.

A memorial service will be held at 3140 Mill Run Dr., Hilliard, OH 43026 on December 3rd from 2-4pm in the clubhouse.
