Mereda "Diane" DeMent, 71, passed away at home with her family on December 29, 2017.
She was born on October 26, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel W. McConnell and Ruth I. Bartow, sister, Mary V. (Milton "Butch") Clagg.
Surviving family includes children, Mark (Danny) McConnell, Loraine (Jack) Chatleain, Chad (Catherine) Hodge, Michael (April) DeMent, grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, Brandon, Ryan, Alissa, Asher, brother Mark (Bonnie), sister Jean (Larry) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and Harley.
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A funeral service will begin at 1pm, Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers please donate to The James Cancer Hospital & Solove Research Institute at OSUCCC.
