Merl R. Jackson

June 19, 1942 — January 2, 2020

Merl Rae Dean Jackson (Jack) of Obetz went home to be with the Lord on January 2, 2020. Born on June 19, 1942 in Des Moines, Iowa to Gretchen and Leonard Jackson. Proceeded in death by his parents, one sister, a niece, and a nephew.

Survived by his devoted wife of 50 years Betty, two sisters, three brothers as well as daughters Rhonda (John) Bowling, Roxanna (Dan) Twedt, Diane Dutcher, Samantha (Todd) Dunbar, sons Doug (Amy) Dutcher, Merl (Candie) Jackson, and Larry Jackson. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Served in the Marines and Air Force, enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, and being with the Lord.

Friends may call at the Newcomer Southwest Chapel 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123 on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 10:00 until time of service at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Harrison Township Cemetery, South Bloomfield, OH.
