Michael J. Addis, age 58, entered into the presence of his King on February 4, 2020. He was born on March 26, 1961 in Zanesville, Ohio to Sheila and Gerald Addis.
Michael loved the Lord, Jesus with all of his heart. He was a devoted member of Christian Community Church. Valerie and Michael were best friends before their marriage on November 12, 1983. He was a skilled carpenter, singer, musician and linguist. Michael taught Bible Study at the Salvation Army Men's Homeless Shelter for 20 years. Michael was an amazing man and touched many lives as a Christian, husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, friend and mentor.
Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 36 years, Valerie; sons, Jonathan (Kayla), Nathaniel, Christian (Annika), Ian; mother, Sheila Addis; brothers, Brian (Carol), Steven (Ann), Timothy; grandchildren, Baylee, Olivia, Jax, Coraline; special friends, Doug and Kathy Duble, Jim and Pam Ryerson, Jim Buchan, Chuck Clark.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Judah Christian Community Church, 972 Beechwood Rd. in Whitehall. The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Obetz Cemetery.
