He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Beckelheimer, grandmother, Gloria Pendergast, grandfathers, Roger Beckelheimer, James Dains, Gerald Rathburn and uncle, Jeffrey Beckelheimer.
Surviving family includes children, Michael Rook and Delilah Ryan, mother, Debra Dains, nana, Janice Rathburn, aunts, Brenda (Jerry) Cochrun, Brenda Carlson, Amy Beckelheimer, Rickie (Dale) Longfellow, uncles, Thomas (Sheila) Dains, Steve Phillips, J.R. (Judy) Beckelheimer, Eugene Beckelheimer, cousins, Nicole Beckelheimer, Courtney King, Ryan Mook, Heather Diemer, T.J. Dains, Josh Butler, Samantha Dains, many friends including best friend, Spencer Campbell.
Mike was a graduate of Hilliard Darby High School and attended Columbus State. He had a very loving heart and such a sweetness about him. As someone recently said, "There was a light in him that anyone could see." Mike was very outgoing and never met a stranger. He was very creative with a gift for writing. We will always love you, Mikie, and hold you in our hearts forever. "52."
Visitation will be held from 4-6pm, Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH, where a funeral service will begin at 6pm.
