Michael Derleth, 80, of Grove City, OH, passed away on December 22, 2016. He was born on March 12, 1936. Michael was a member of the Grove City Sertoma Club and also a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Blanche Derleth-Schuesler, aunt and uncle, Marie & Edward Codling, sister, Mary Beth Scheib and nephew, James Derleth.
Surviving family includes wife, Saundra, children, Marlena (Tom) Nolan, Mike (Koreen) Derleth, Mark (Mylitta) Derleth, grandchildren, Brian, Jessica, Macon, Allyson, Tessa, William, great-grandchildren, Braden, Nolan, sister, Doris Rohla and multiple nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8pm, Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am, Friday, January 6, 2017 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3730 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
