Michael Garrett, 40, of Columbus, passed away May 6, 2018.
Michael was born November 24, 1977 to Robert Garrett and Teresa (Ross) Hinkle.
He loved spending time with his family and friends and knew no strangers. Michael will be remembered as loving brother, son, uncle, nephew, father and friend. Tinky Boo will be missed!
Michael will be deeply missed by his; son Zachary Garrett; father Robert Garrett and step-father Tom Hinkle; brothers Kevin (Bobbie), Ben (Kendra) Hinkle; sisters Jennifer (Zach), Debbie (Eric) Bell; nieces Hannah, Kaitlyn; nephews Gene, Austin, Kendrik, Josef, Isaiah, Josiah, Kaleb and honorary brother Nate.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother Teresa, grandparents Arnold and Sylvia Ross, Essel and Burdella Garrett.
Visitation will be Friday, May 11, 2018 from 6pm to 7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home NE 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus.
Funeral services will follow at 7pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital 700 Children's Drive Columbus or Make-A-Wish 2545 Farmers Drive #300 Columbus.
