Michael "Mike" Murphy, born on October 17, 1958, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025. Throughout his life, Mike was known for his outgoing personality, kindness, and straightforward nature. He held firm to his beliefs while maintaining a fun spirit that brought joy to those around him.

Mike had a deep passion for football, particularly for the Steelers and the Buckeyes. He enjoyed watching games with family and friends, often sharing excitement and laughter. A lover of all creatures, he found joy in feeding squirrels, creating a connection with nature that he cherished. His beloved cat, Stash, was a constant companion in his life.

Together with his wife, Cathy Miller, Mike enjoyed attending NASCAR races, where their shared love for the thrill of racing brought them even closer. Family was incredibly important to Mike, and he adored his grandchildren: Cameron (Brooke), Drew, Robbie, Nick (Patty), and Kramer (Ashley). He took great pride in being a grandfather and celebrated the arrival of his great-grandchildren, Layla, Giovanni, Annabelle, Chase, and Wrenleigh.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Cathy; his children, Tiffany, Max, Jeff (Lisa), and Sean (Lisa); and his cherished friends, Joe, David, Lee, Jeff Daniels, and Mike. He is preceded in death by his sister, Cindy.

Mike leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will continue to resonate with those who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
