Michael Sech 94 of Grove City passed on May 8, 2015. He was born Feb. 5, 1921 in Pardee, VA to John & Anna Sech who preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his wife Wanda B. Sech; 5 brothers John, Nick, Walter, Sam, Frank, amd sisters Helen and Kate. Survivors include son Steve (Mary) Sech, daughter Cathryn (John) Gregory; Grandchildren Patrick, Keri, Amanda, Victoria, Melissa, Derek, and 10 great-grandchildren; Brothers- Andy Sech, Paul Sech, and sister Nellie Hughes. Numerous nieces and Nephews.
Michael served in the US Marine Corp. during WWII from May 13, 1942 until May 13, 1946 in the Pacific Theatre, attaining the rank of Sergeant. He remained in the service in Reserve status serving in the Korean War until February 5, 1951
Visitation will be held from 11 to 1PM Wednesday May 13 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW 3393 Broadway Grove City, OH 43123 where a funeral service will be held at 1PM with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
