Michael E. Sexton, 62, of Grove City, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. He was born September 24, 1946, in Columbus, son of the late William and Ruth Burris Sexton. In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his brothers, John and Bill Sexton; sisters, Ruth Ann Pressley and Deborah Cline. He served in the Navy during Vietnam and also worked for V.I.P. Realty for 40 years. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Betty Ogg Sexton; son, Michael Todd Sexton; daughter, Michelle Hillard; grandsons, Zachary and Travis Hillard; brothers, Joseph (Pat), James and David (Sandy) Sexton; sisters, Patricia, (Kevin) Martin, Susan Tope, Karen Lockwood, Janice Wahrer, Diane (James) Whitaker, Mary (Mark) Bowen and Denise Hartley. Visitation will be Saturday, November 1, 2008 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home S.W. Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 PM.
