Michael Strelecky

Michael Thomas Strelecky, 74, passed away on January 13, 2014, in Columbus, OH, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 13, 1939, in Columbus, OH, to Michael and Mary Margaret Strelecky.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Richard and Gerald Strelecky.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years Ula M. Strelecky; sons, Steve (Sheri), Chris (Karen), and Michael (Melody) Strelecky; daughters, Teresa (Lance) Carr, Jennifer (Dale) Kelley and Sara Williams and her fiancé Oscar Porter; grandchildren, Natalie (Ethan) Bremer, Tyler, Jessica, Whitney, Traci, Suzi, Travis, Tanner, Jillian, Garrett, Taylor, Ava, Drew, Kaitlin, and Brenden; sister Margaret Ann (Jim) Cottrill; and many special friends.
Michael was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #98 for 37 years and retired from Lambert Sheet Metal in 1998. He attended the Johnstown Independent Baptist Church.

A visitation for Michael will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014, from 4-8 pm at the Johnstown Independent Baptist Church (JIBC), 7397 Johnstown Alexandria Road Johnstown, Ohio 43031. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at 10:00 am also at JIBC. He will be laid to rest at Greenhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Johnstown Independent Baptist Church Missions.
