Michael L. Vogel, age 57, longtime resident of Goodwin & Goodwin home. He passed away on July 14, 2018 of natural causes.
He was employed by Arc Industries East.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald L. Vogel Sr. and step-father, Harry E. Manes.
He is survived by mother, Nancy Manes, sisters, Deborah (Jon) Phillips, Rebecca (Ray) Saggio, Lauretta (Doug) Whitley, brother, Ronald (Jill) Vogel Jr., sister, Jennifer (Tim) McAndrew. Also survived by step-brothers, Stan and Steve Manes, Mark Vogel, step-sisters, Tanya Servais, Kim Demkovich and Sherri Lynn Lang, "The Great Uncle Butch" (Susan) Bolin, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family expresses great appreciation for the loving caretakers, friends and owners of Goodwin & Goodwin Home. Michael attended St. Margaret of Cortona Catholic Church and loved the simple things of life such as balloons, music, praying the rosary and traveling on airplane trips with his caretakers. He greeted everyone with open arms, was loved by everyone who knew him and had a profound impact on his family and others. He will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 11am at St. Margaret Cortona Catholic Church, 1600 North Hague Avenue, Columbus, OH 43204.
Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lockbourne, OH.
