Mildred Carpenter, 52, of Columbus, OH, passed away on February 11, 2017. She was born on August 14, 1964.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Carpenter Sr., sister, Linda Carpenter, brother, John "Jack" Carpenter Jr.
Surviving family includes life partner, Joseph Abounaoum, mother, Sandra Carpenter, children, John "Bubba" (Ashley) Carpenter and their son Jovan, Sarah Carpenter, Joe's son, Roy (Jonelle) Abounaoum and their children, Jade, Rayne, Joe's daughter, Rachel Abounaoum, Millie's siblings, Rose Knott, Donna (Dave) Thompson, Carol Campbell, Nicole (Tim) Adams, Bill (Melody) Carpenter, Arthur (Rhonda) Carpenter, Charles (Tammy) Carpenter and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5-8pm, Friday, February 17, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
A funeral service will be held at 10am, Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the new section of Grove City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Homeless Families Foundation, 33 N. Grubb Street, Columbus, OH 43215.
