Mildred "Mimi" Olivia Long Quinn, a cherished figure of warmth and kindness, graced this world from June 24, 1928, until her journey concluded on February 16, 2026, in Grove City, Ohio. Born in the town of Clinton, Alabama, Mimi carried with her the gentle allure of the South, a charm that infused her life and touched the hearts of many.

As a mother, she was the embodiment of love and guidance to her son, Mike Long. She delighted in the company of her grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to her heart: Emily (Roger) Jackson, Joseph Jackson, Lauren Long, Mikkie (Brad) Bates, Olivia Jenkins, Aaron Jenkins, Nathan Long, and Ariel Long Sylve. These beloved children, who filled her life with laughter and light, are further blessed to carry the legacy of her love into the future through her great-grandchildren: Morgan Lockwood, Georgia Bates, Clarissa Bates, and Brock Bates.

Mimi held dear the bonds of sisterhood with her siblings, Alice McGilvra and Dora Lou Moring Grafton. They shared many fond memories, creating a tapestry of family tales and laughter. Furthermore, her memory lives on in the hearts of countless nieces and nephews, who remember her as a guiding star in their lives.

Though surrounded by love, Mimi faced heartache along her journey, preceding her in death were her devoted husbands, Jack Long and Jack Quinn. She is mourned as well by her late daughter, Karen Sue (Long) Walls, whose absence surely left a profound void in her heart. Mimi’s beloved parents, Mary Alice Hayes Merrill and William Wheaton King, along with her brothers and sisters, Louise Head, Joe King, Fannie Colvin, William King Jr., Frances (Tass) Puskas, and James (Bud) Merrill, and her brother Obie Sue William Scott, now welcome her with open arms in the great beyond.
