Moody Tackett, age 73, passed away on January 26, 2018. He was born on April 7, 1944 in Virgie, KY.
Moody is preceded in death by his wife Virgie M. (Spence) Tackett; parents Kermit and Draxie (Hall) Tackett; brother Wendall Tackett.
He is survived by children Wendall (Martha) Tackett, Clint (Sherry) Tackett, Rhonda Meade, and Lynn (Todd) Shriner; step-sons Jeff Elliot, and Randal Spence; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings Nova Drexson of Grove City, OH, Louisa Morgan of Pattonville, OH, Judy Calder of Byesville, OH, Shirley Sharp of Thurman, OH, Roy Tackett of Derby, OH, and Harold Tackett of Darbyville, OH; as well as many extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Newcomer, Grove City, from 11am-1pm. Burial to follow at Muhlenberg Township Cemetery in Williamsport, OH.
