Myrtice R. Gray, 68, of Columbus, passed away July 19, 2018.
She was born April 10, 1950 to J. C. and Naomi (Starks) Whiting.
She was a long time active member of Redeemer AME Zion Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and was an avid reader.
She was married to Clarence for 40 years.
Myrtice will be deeply missed by her husband; children Nalea, Kenneth, Martine, Justin; 8 grandchildren; brother John; sister Rosenita along with numerous other family and friends.
Myrtice was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Wilbert, Ron and sister Joyce.
Visitation will be Friday, July 27, 2018 from 10am to 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home NE 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus.
Funeral services will follow at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Harry Proctor officiating.
Burial will be at Eastlawn Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the Lupus Foundation of America.
