In loving memory of our mother, Nancy S. Cassis, who passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 13, 2019. She was born to William and Genevieve Myers on June 19, 1943, in Portsmouth, OH. She was an avid believer in Jesus Christ, committed to her church and community, and co-founded/led a Prayer Group for more than forty years. Nancy married Charlie Cassis and together they had 2 daughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charlie, brother Randy, and niece Heather, as well as many other family and friends. Nancy is survived by daughter Daphne (Steve) Berry, Jennifer (Marty) Bennett, 2 Grandchildren, Rachel Berry and Charlie Bennett, siblings Danny Myers, Sandy Denney and family, and Larry Myers and family, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation at LeaveAMark Church, 4818 Parsons Avenue at Rathmell Road on Tuesday, October 22nd from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A reception will follow at Nancy's church, Community of Christ Grove City, 1255 Stringtown Road from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm. Graveside burial will be on Wednesday, October 23rd at Scioto Burial Park, 4757 McDermott Pond Creek Road, McDermott, OH at 11:00 am.
