Nancy Lee Garrett, 71, Columbus, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014. Nancy was born in Columbus, OH on July 30, 1942, to Lester and Margie (Mullen) Moore and is preceded in death by her parents; son, Raymond C. Garrett, Jr,; sisters, Jane Meister and Leslie Shiverdecker.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Raymond C. Garrett, Sr; daughters, Ginger (Tony) Radcliff, Phyllis Waretzi and Rebecca Garrett; sons, Michael (Ashley Butler) Garrett, Raymond J. (Conchita) Garrett, Ronald M (Cathy) Garrett and Richard A. (Cindy) Garrett; several beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; longtime friend, Ron Balsom; nieces, nephews and many friends.
Nancy retired from OSU Security after many years of service.
Family and friends will gather on Thursday, June 26, 2014, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, 10:00 AM at Flint Cemetery, 8187 Flint Road, Worthington, OH 43235.
