Nellie Pierce, 94, of Columbus, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017.
Nellie was born July 27, 1923 to Pietro and Luigia Pastore.
Nellie loved spending time with her family and she knew no strangers.
She was married to Oliver R. Pierce Sr. for 45 years before his passing in 1984.
Nellie will be deeply missed by her; children Louise Reno, Oliver Pierce Jr., Carol (William) Whetzel, Sheryl Pierce, Raymond Pierce; grandchildren Diane (Michael) Clark, Thomas Homer, Jimmy Whetzel, Johnny Whetzel, David Whetzel, Daniel Whetzel; great-grandchildren Heather Clark, Brandon Clark, Jacob Homer, and Paige Homer.
Along with her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, brother Matthew Pastore.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 12, 2018, at 10am at Newcomer Funeral Home Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus. Burial will be at Union Cemetery.
