Nils Johns Rautio Sr.

Nils Johns Rautio Sr. , age 78, from Galloway OH, born October 7, 1940 in Jesup GA to the late Arvid M. and Tyyne Rautio passed away October 16, 2018. Nils is also predeceased by his sister, Eleanor. Nils is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carole F. Rautio, children: Erica (Gary) May, N. John (Marla) Rautio Jr., Michelle Rautio, grandchildren: Brandon, Andrea, Derek (Heather), Erik, Luke and Alycia, great-grandchildren: Micaijah, KayLee, Hensley and Lafayette, as well as many loving extended family and friends.

After graduating high school Nils served 4 years in the Air Force, he worked for GM for 34 years. He loved hunting, fishing and working on anything that had 4 wheels. He had a great sense of humor and loved his family.


Friends and family may call Friday October 19, 2018 from 4 pm -6 pm at Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City OH where a funeral service will take place Saturday October 20, 2018 at 9 am. Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery.
