Nimil Peethambaran

It is with profound sadness that we share *the passing of Nimil Peethambaran, who passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026, at the age of 46.

Born in Thrissur, Kerala, India, Nimil later made his home in Delaware, Ohio, where he built a life rooted in love, hard work, and meaningful friendships. Since arriving in the United States in 2012, he became a cherished presence to many through his warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit.

Nimil was a devoted husband to Krishna Nimil and a loving father to Hari and Hanika. His family was the center of his life, and he took great pride in caring for and supporting them in every way.

He was known for his cheerful personality, quick sense of humor, and ability to bring happiness to those around him. Nimil worked as a Software Developer and was respected for his dedication, intelligence, and strong work ethic. He was also a thoughtful and intellectually curious person who loved reading books, engaging in meaningful conversations, and sharing his views on current events and politics.

A true lover of cinema, Nimil had a special passion for movies and was known among family and friends as a movie critic, always eager to discuss films, performances, and stories with insight and enthusiasm.

Outside of work, he enjoyed photography, tennis, and creating furniture by hand, crafting desks and chairs for his home with care and skill.

Nimil valued life’s simple but meaningful moments—time with family, laughter with friends, thoughtful discussions, and experiences that brought people together. His generous heart, positive energy, and genuine nature made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Nimil at a funeral service on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 10051 Brewster Ln, Powell, OH 43065. A live stream of the service will be available for those unable to attend in person.

Nimil will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
