Nora Jean Maxwell

Nora Jean Maxwell, age 96, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018. She was born on November 15, 1921 in Cuervo, New Mexico to the late Pete and Lola Harrison.
Nora loved life and loved her Lord; she was a faithful longtime member of Neil Avenue Baptist Church. She excelled in her career as a hairdresser.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Maxwell; daughter, Donna Sue Flaten and 13 siblings.
Nora Jean is survived by her daughter, Sandra Jo Shipman and sister Nellie Laslie.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Kindred Hospice and The Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing for their care.
The family will receive friends from 6-7pm, Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, Oh 43231 where the funeral service will be held at 10am, Friday, April 13, 2018. Dr. Bill Reid officiating. Interment at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
