Norma "Rachel" Bradley, 80, of Columbus, sunset Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Highbank Care Center.
Sunrise August 15, 1935 in Columbus, daughter of the late Mike and Lucy Ellis Thornton.
In addition to her parents, Rachel was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald, Herman and Cyril Thornton; sisters, Josephine Burden and Evelyn Tucker; father and mother-in-law, James and Clara Bradley.
She retired from the United States Postal Service.
Rachel leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Ronald Bradley Sr.; sons, Ronald Bradley Jr. and Scott (Marsha) Bradley; daughter, Lisa Hunt; brothers, James (Betty), Mike and Aaron Thornton; sisters, Anna Nadine Howell and Carole Darling; sisters-in-law, Alva, Dovie and Mary Thornton; special nephews, Frank (Leona) and Richard Bell; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, 2283 Sunbury Rd. Columbus, with the Homecoming service beginning at 12:00 PM, with Bishop Donald J. Washington, officiating.
Interment will be in Flint Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
